Custom Wrought Metal Fire Escape
For several years Eddie’s Iron Works has been providing secure fire escape steelwork to Boston, MA, and surrounding areas.

In addition, Eddie’s Iron Works is licensed to inspect and certify your fire escape by the provisions of the Massachusetts State Building Code, Chapter 1001.3.3. Certification is required every 5 years by a Massachusetts Registered Professional Licensed Fire Escape Installer or acceptable to the Building Official.
Our external fire escape stairs are designed and manufactured to the highest standards which means that quality and regulatory safety are built-in, while our specialist external fire escape fabrication expertise is recognized and relied upon by companies ranging from local councils, structural steel architects, and large scale construction contractors.
We can offer a number of staircase designs, styles, and color options including steel spiral fire escape designs, and bespoke combinations.
Our External Fire Escape Stairs are, as standard, made from mild steel and come with non-corrosive anti-slip treads, and are coated with a wide selection of non-flammable, fire-resistant coatings. Each system comes with its own security features and can include hinged access gates, ramps, and canopy covers where required.
Our Fire Escape Stairs are available for single and multi-story requirements and are open to new build and refurbishment contracts.
